XML / YML Import to CAS for XenForo

This XenForo add-on allows you to automatically import products and services from XML or YML feeds into the CAS (Classified Ads System) add-on.

The importer creates and updates CAS listings based on data received from external shops, marketplaces, catalogs, and other XML/YML data sources.

It is designed for websites that need to regularly synchronize a large number of products or services from external feeds with their XenForo CAS classifieds structure.

The add-on includes a flexible category mapping system that allows you to map categories from an external XML/YML feed to CAS categories on your XenForo forum.

For example:

XML category ID → CAS category ID

Each advertiser can have its own category mapping. This makes it possible to import feeds from different shops or marketplaces, each with its own category structure, into the appropriate CAS categories on your forum.

If a category from the XML feed is not found in the mapping, the configured default CAS category can be used.

Multiple Advertisers and Feeds

The add-on supports separate feed configurations for different advertisers.

For each advertiser you can specify:

XenForo User ID — owner of the imported listings Feed name XML/YML feed URL Active/inactive status Custom prefix_id Excluded CAS listing IDs Category mapping

Only active feeds are processed by the XenForo Cron system.

This allows you to connect multiple shops, suppliers, companies or marketplaces to a single XenForo forum.

Listing Synchronization

During synchronization, the add-on can create new CAS listings and update existing listings using the information provided by the XML/YML feed.

You can configure the default CAS listing type, listing status, prefix, currency, category and other parameters used when creating new listings.

Existing listings can be excluded from synchronization by specifying their CAS listing IDs. This is useful for protecting manually managed or special listings from automatic changes or deletion.

Image Import

Product images can be downloaded automatically from URLs provided in the XML/YML feed.

The administrator can configure:

Maximum number of images per new listing HTTP timeout for image downloads Delay between consecutive image requests

The add-on also respects the image limits configured by the corresponding CAS category.

Siropu Ads Manager Integration

The add-on can optionally use data from Siropu Ads Manager to control the visibility of imported CAS listings.

When enabled, the visibility of listings can be controlled according to the advertiser's active status in Siropu Ads Manager.

This makes it possible to automatically show or hide CAS listings depending on the advertiser's current status.
